03 / Ownership
Intellectual Property & Ownership
Your source material remains yours. The rights attached to our production work are set out below.
- Client material. You retain ownership of recordings, scripts, artwork, brand assets, and other material you provide. You confirm that you have the permissions needed for us to use that material on the project.
- Production work. 1st Choice Vocal Productions Ltd retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, templates, session structures, know-how, and custom sound design elements until all agreed project fees have been paid.
- Transfer after payment. Once the final balance is paid, the agreed finished deliverables and approved custom sound design elements are assigned or licensed to you as stated in the project agreement. Our general tools and working methods remain ours.
- Portfolio use. We will only identify your project, show extracts, or use finished work in our portfolio with your consent. Please tell us in writing if confidentiality is required before work begins.
- Third-party rights. Music, archive recordings, voices, typefaces, and other third-party material may require a separate licence. You are responsible for permissions you supply, while we will flag licensing needs we identify during production.
04 / Project delivery
Payment, Delivery & Revisions
The project agreement sets the commercial detail. These are the working principles behind it.
Payment stages
A deposit, milestone payment, or final balance may be required. Invoices are payable by the date shown on them.
Timing
Delivery dates depend on receiving source files, decisions, approvals, and feedback when agreed.
Revisions
The agreed number of revision rounds is included in the project scope. Extra rounds or changes to the brief may be charged at the agreed rate.
Unexpected delay
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events outside reasonable control, provided the affected party gives notice and resumes work when possible.
05 / Protection and law
Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
Reasonable limits
We take reasonable care in providing the services, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted website access, a particular audience response, or results that depend on platforms, distributors, algorithms, or third-party providers.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, our liability for a project is limited to the fees paid or payable for that project, except where the law requires otherwise.

You agree to protect 1st Choice Vocal Productions Ltd against reasonable losses, claims, and costs arising from material you supply where you did not have the necessary rights or where that material breaks the law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
